What the charity does

There are almost one million people living with dementia in the UK. Sadly, several members of the Homesure Property team have family members suffering with the condition. They’re not alone. Over half of us know someone affected by dementia, yet there are no treatments available that slow or stop the diseases that cause it. The most common one being Alzheimer’s.

Alzheimer’s Research UK is working to change this. The charity invests in groundbreaking research, to bring about life-changing treatments for people living with dementia.

We’re proud to be supporting this work.

What we’re doing

Mark Loughnane, Managing Director of Homesure Property, has committed to running the 2024 London Marathon for Alzheimer’s Research UK.

As a team, we’ll also be completing lots of other challenges between now and then, beginning with a sponsored cycle on Wednesday 26th July.

Where will we be cycling to, you ask?

Well, we manage rental properties across the Northwest. If we cycled to all our property inspections, the distance would be roughly 100 miles. That’s how far we’ll be cycling, as a team, on 26th July.

However, if we cycled around all our property inspections this month, we may appear a little sweaty, a little out of breath, and somewhat less than professional by the time we arrived! So instead, we’ll be putting an exercise bike outside the Woolton office and cycling our miles on that. Please come out to support our efforts.

If we manage your properties, rest assured that we’ll continue showing up to inspections looking fresh as daisies!

On Wednesday 26th July 2023, there will be a bike outside of Homesure House, 32 Allerton Road, Woolton all day. We’ll be right there on the high street, so come and see us while you’re in the village. And do bring some change for our bucket.
