Homesure Property has completed its fifth company acquisition in seven years, making it the largest independent property management business in Liverpool City Region and Cheshire. The acquisition of Beech Properties’ portfolio adds 200 landlords to Homesure’s client base and creates vacancies for property managers at all career levels.
Largest independent property management company in Liverpool and Cheshire
Since launching in 2007, Homesure has grown from a team of two, to one of over 40 people, operating across three offices. That team has proved that growth and excellent customer service can go hand-in-hand, by receiving almost 500 independently verified five-star reviews.
Beech Properties provided hundreds of new Liverpool homes in its tenure, and attracted Irish investment into the city since 2004. Founder Gordon Cuthbert reached out to Homesure Property earlier this year, when he made the decision to return to Ireland full time. Since then, all Beech landlords have transitioned onto Homesure’s cutting-edge property management system.
Nick Stott, CEO of Homesure Property, said:
“We respect Gordon and the hard work he’s put in, attracting foreign investment into Liverpool and providing quality homes. Our values align, so we’re pleased to be able to provide a continuity of service to Beech landlords.
“We’ve transitioned all landlords formerly managed by Beech onto our future-proof property management system. It’s more challenging to manage property now than ever before. With increased legislation, coupled with things like selective licensing for landlords, there are a lot of plates to keep spinning. We’ve created a business model that meets those challenges in a way that smaller firms and self-managing landlords inevitably struggle to do. By selling to Homesure, Gordon can be safe in the knowledge that his clients will be supported for the long term.”
Future-proof property management
Homesure Property has maintained a paperless office from day one and has always been an early adopter of new technology. As a result, the company operates with a uniquely efficient business model that has enabled it to scale up, without compromising on quality of service.
Nick continued:
“We use tried and tested systems, processes – and now AI – to help us provide a better, faster service. With less paperwork, the team is free to focus on the areas of property management that technology can’t perform – building long-lasting and trusted relationships with our landlords. Their time is spent ensuring all homes are fully compliant with legislation, rent accounts are up-to-date, and properties are properly maintained via regular inspections. The tech we employ also gives landlords a fully transparent view of our process, via our landlord web portal. They can see their portfolios online, 24/7, from anywhere in the world.
“We’ve proved that our organisational structure is capable of scaling growth without letting customer service slip. In fact, as the company grows, our customer service is continually improving. That’s evidenced by our annual landlord customer service survey.”
Positioned for further growth
Nick, along with co-directors Mark Loughnane and Steven Kenny, plan to grow the company further in the coming years, to provide increased career progression opportunities for their growing team. An independent Liverpool business success story, Homesure Property is ideally positioned to manage many more properties and invite applications from ambitious property managers ready to progress their careers.
We are actively seeking to connect with company owners in the industry, who are open to exploring acquisitions or sales. If you are in this position, book a discreet, confidential call with Nick.
